Audit/AUP Status Update

Four Rivers Vector Control District has successfully brought its required Annual Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUPs) reports up to date. During this process, historical reviews identified numerous compliance deficiencies that occurred under prior Board and administrative leadership.

While those historical findings cannot be changed, the current Board of Trustees and District management have worked diligently to implement the recommendations, strengthen internal controls, update financial policies, and improve fiscal oversight. The vast majority of the deficiencies identified in prior AUPs have already been addressed through new procedures and governance practices.

The District remains committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public funds. We will continue working closely with our certified public accountants and auditors to ensure ongoing compliance with Oregon law and to maintain strong financial management practices for the future.
